InsynQ Expands Authorized Hosting Service to Canada
Delivers Cloud Based Solution for Businesses in Canada With New Datacenter

GIG HARBOR, WA–(Jun 20, 2011) – InsynQ, Inc., a premier provider of application hosting and cloud solutions, announced today the launch of IQCloud Computing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of InsynQ, Inc., and the expansion of hosting services to the Canadian market. By extending delivery capabilities to facilities in Canada, InsynQ is now able to serve Canadian-based subscribers with hosting solutions and secure data management under localized regulatory influence.

As the first provider licensed as an Intuit Authorized Commercial Host for QuickBooks, InsynQ currently has customers in 16 countries across 3 continents, with services being provided from InsynQ’s US-based datacenter facilities. The establishment of a Canadian company and facility provides an additional level of protection (SAS 70 Type 1 & 2, Class A) which cannot be offered by an out-of-country provider.

With the new datacenter, InsynQ mitigates the risk of outsourcing information technology management by offering services from a Canada-based organization with infrastructure in Canada. This allows InsynQ to conform with PIPEDA, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, as opposed to hosting the data in the US, where it is subject to certain US regulatory conditions as well as the Patriot Act. “Security and confidentiality of subscriber information and data are of paramount importance, particularly when dealing with sensitive financial information,” said InsynQ Chairman & CEO John Gorst. “The demands of the Canadian market deserve to be met with an infrastructure that caters to their needs. So that’s what we’re giving them.”
