  Why is application hosting so popular with accountants, CPAs, bookkeepers and their clients?
  The main reason is that it eliminates the need to travel to and from client locations, or to physically transfer files and documents. Accountants, bookkeepers and businesses can all work in the same data file at the same time, from anywhere. And with a tiered permission structure, accountants can manage all of their clients data files with a single login. Accountants like working in the cloud because they can handle additional clients and work with people that are further away. Businesses like it because their accountants can provide better service with anywhere, anytime access to their data.
 
  Why not host applications and data for me and my clients in-house?
  The cost to buy, manage and maintain applications and servers is generally too much for the average small or medium-sized business. Plus you would be responsible for the security and support your clients demand. Our services work a lot like your water or electrical service. Costs are lower because you only pay for what you need, when you need to use it, and it is provided by certified professionals. With InsynQ, the overall cost to run and maintain a network is lower, because services are provided in bulk.
 
  Why should I choose InsynQ over another hosting provider?
  Although there are many providers out there, InsynQ is one of the oldest application hosting providers in existence today, and has more experience than anyone else. We work directly with software developers to test, deploy and maintain applications in the cloud. These relationships, combined with our experience, is why we can offer more applications than any other provider.
 
  Is cloud computing safe? How is security handled?
  In the majority of cases, our security is more extensive than what most businesses can afford to manage. Our servers are hosted in secure facilities where they are virus protected, monitored and backed up. We utilize enterprise-class firewalls and employ layered encryption strategies to give you secure remote access and protect the network you use from outside intrusion. Application and security upgrades are regularly tested and performed by certified security experts.
 
  How do I move my application and data to the cloud?
  Moving to the cloud is a very simply process that is primarily handled by InsynQ engineers. An account manager will get the licensing and user information required to set up your Virtual Desktops with the applications you need. They will also walk you through the process of accessing your Desktop via web browser, and make sure you know how to use the system. Upon getting set up, you will be provided with information on how to move your files and data over to the cloud. If at any time you need help or have a question, InsynQ Support is available to help you.
 
  Do I need new/additional software licenses? Can I add more software as needed?
  You can provide us with your current license, purchase a new one or even rent select applications from us (see Apps for Rent under the Hosted Apps tab). Either way, we help you properly license your software so you have full access to manufacturer support when you need it.

Additional software can always be added as your needs change or your business grows. Our Public Cloud allows users to choose from a select list of apps that are ready to deploy, and our Private Cloud offers people the ability to fully customize their Virtual Desktop with the apps they need. If you don't see the app you need on one of our extensive lists, let us know. Chances are, it can be hosted in the cloud after our engineers test it.

  How do I manage my account?
  Account administrators have the ability to log on to our Self-Serve IT (SSIT) platform to manage accounts. SSIT is where you can view basic account info, place orders to add or remove profiles and applications, view the status of all orders and access past and current billing information. You can even view the status of support tickets, so you know when an issue has been resolved.
 
  Can I print from my Virtual Desktop?
  Yes. Printing from an InsynQ Virtual Desktop is easy and requires no additional software, drivers or fees. Your Desktop will automatically pick up local printers, so no matter where you are, printing is readily available. You can even print to PDF and create documents the same way you always have.
 
  Are hosted applications the same as the online versions?
  No. One of the key benefits of using a Virtual Desktop to host your applications is that the applications are the same as the ones you currently use on your computer, not a watered down version.
